10/19/2011 Fresh seafood and outstanding service
My family is from the mountaints of North Carolina and try to make a couple trips to the Outer Banks each year. With every trip, we try new restaurants, as we are seafood enthusiasts. We came to Mako Mike’s by reccomendation of a friend who is local. We were immediately seated with no wait. Our server was a very helpful young man who answered all of our questions regarding the menu. My husband chose a tasty grouper special with shrimp and scallops, while I had the filet with crabmeat “Norfolk,” which basically means it’s baked with a yummy butter sauce. They had great options for our two young children, who are picky eaters. When we asked if we could get the a different type of pasta for our daughter, they happily made it for us with no extra charge. Our kids both left with “toys” that our waitor brought them, removable tattoos and shark teeth. We will definitely be back next time we make a trip to the Outer Banks!

I get the same thing every time, the seafood pizza. It’s perfection! 
) the rest of my family gets new things every time, we are always pleased with our visit. Food, atmosphere, service and prices… all our reasonable and very pleasing! If you’ve never gone… GO!!!! and try their tasty, mouth watering seafood pizza! )
